Inhalt

The International Business Management degree program is taught in English, which enables students of many nations to attend. The Bachelor of Arts in International Business Management degree can be obtained after three years and a half of study including a work experience semester abroad, along with a semester of study at a university in a foreign country. For foreign students attending this program, Germany is considered a foreign country. Voraussetzungen

- Abitur/Matura - Fachgebundene Hochschulreife - Fachhochschulreife Applicants must submit all the required information stated in the application form, including officially certified copies of original and translated certificates. These certifications must be made by the German Embassy in your country, it is important that every certificate submitted carries the official stamp of the German Embassy. Should there be any problems or queries regarding your qualifications, you will be notified. All applicants who are not native speakers of English AND citizens of one of the following countries: - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland - Republic of Ireland - United States of America - Canada - Australia - New Zealand must be able to demonstrate that their English proficiency is adequate. The university regards the following qualifications as indicative of a minimum level of competence: * TOEFL, a score of at least 550 paper-based, 213 in the computer- based test. (Our TOEFL code number is 8221). * British Council IELTS, overall score 6.0 or higher. * Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, grade B or above. * Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English, grade A. * German Abitur or Fachhochschulreife, english mark of 2.0 (10, 11, 12 points) or above. * GCSE in English, grade B or above * International GCSE in English as a second language, grade B or above

Organisatorisches

Language and communication skills are an integral part of the program. Our aim is to enable you to communicate accurately and confidently, even in the most challenging business situations. All language courses are taught by experienced professionals who are native speakers of the language they teach. For non-native speakers of English 1st foreign language: Business English (advanced level) 2nd foreign language: For non-native speakers of German: German For German native speakers: Chinese (no previous knowledge), Spanish or French (4-5 years of previous studies) For native speakers of English 1st foreign language: German 2nd foreign language: Chinese (no previous knowledge), Spanish or French (4-5 years of previous studies) In the regional focus chosen, you will be exposed to, in addition to learning the language itself, economic structures, the history and cultures, business practices, laws and social systems of that region. Regional analysis and an examination of the international competitiveness of that region are explored. For non-native speakers of English, we offer Business English at an advanced level. All language courses offer various aspects of the language, including accuracy and fluency in speaking, listening skills, extended business terminology and idiomatic usage, and reading and writing across a range of business contexts. Semester-length courses are regularly offered in German as a Foreign Language at all levels, as well as Business German, Technical German and socio-political courses about Germany and the European Union today.
